At Jane Austen’s House in Chawton, Hampshire, visitors embark on a journey through the final eight years of the beloved author's life. The museum boasts an exceptional collection of Austen memorabilia, including her jewellery, letters, and first editions of her renowned novels. Guests have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Austen's world, tracing her footsteps in the very rooms where she penned her timeless classics. From literature to film. And gin. There’s another chance to celebrate Valentine’s Day at nearby Bombay Sapphire Distillery. The distillery has a wonderful cinema and this Valentine’s Day there’s a special screening of a classic Romantic Drama starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. The ticket price includes a complimentary gin and tonic, popcorn, a chocolate dipping platter for two, and a further gin and tonic during the interval. Pre-booking is essential. And finally, the glamour and thrill of a day at Ascot. With a competitive Grade 1 race as the centrepiece, the Betfair Ascot Chase Raceday is one of the most important Jumps fixtures in the racing calendar. A grand day out, taking place on Saturday 17th February, stands out as one of the season’s most prestigious races, with a roll of honour to match its reputation, the is horse racing at its finest.
