WHAT'S ON IN FEBRUARY 2023

Let’s take a look at what’s on in the surrounding area for the month of February. While there’s plenty to keep you occupied and well fed here at on our estate at The Elvetham, it’s always nice to explore a little further…

The Victoria and Jubilee Halls are a focus for the vibrant local community of Hartley Wintney. They can be relied upon for a variety of events ranging from monthly on-screen entertainment through to live music. Here’s this month’s happenings:

• 11th February - Live At The Jubilee: Fantasy - Fantasy is a ‘school band’ from St. Albans playing largely songs from the 1960’s and 1970’s. The Beatles, Stones and Kinks feature heavily in the set list, so head down and enjoy some audio gold!
• 15th February - ROH Opera LIVE: The Barber of Seville - With vocal fireworks, scheming lovers and one very busy barber, Rossini’s comic opera is packed with fun and mischief. This is a live screening from the Royal Opera House.
• 22nd February - Movie Night: Top Gun Maverick - Tom Cruise returns as rule-breaking fighter pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in the pulse-pounding sequel to the 80s classic.

18th-19th February - 2023 Turf Games Winter Festival - In true Turf Games style, the team will be bringing the spectators all the festival vibes with a live DJ, great food and drinks, chill out areas, action packed workouts to watch, and all the fitness community vibes. For athletic prowess of a four legged kind, why not head to Ascot Racecourse? If you are
interested in a day at the races, then there is no better place than Ascot. Watch some great racing, don your finest clothes and enjoy a marvellous day out. 18th February - Betfair Ascot Chase Race Day - The Grade 1 Betfair Ascot Chase stands out as one of the season’s most prestigious races, with a roll of honour to match its reputation. Supported by the Grade 2 Reynoldstown Novices’ Chase, this competitive card provides the perfect chance for horses to fine-tune their preparations for the forthcoming Cheltenham Festival.
